it’s easy 4 steps
1. renew donor
2. copy data from old and backup coding
3. rewrite data and during restoring coding you vin number is selected of the old VGS after that u can write vin manually (and if you can’t read the old VGS you can use EIS data and then code and program online)
4. after fitting it back activite it and readaptation (notice without readaptation of gear range sensors you won’t be able to move or engage any gear)

Follow the wiring diagram below

Make sure you have the resistor that bridges 1 and 2 of can cl and Ch. Don’t use GBox it will delay.

Autel IM608 XP400 BMW FEM Partition Zero Null Data?

Question:

I’m trying to reset the BMW FRM module 3m25j with Autel IM608 XP400, data got corrupted there’s no data.

Error Partition is zero and data is null.

I could only get the Pflash read.

I’m in need of an EPROM file and Dflash if possible

Solution:

The data is still there, the im608 just refuses to read the corrupt partition.

If you read dflash with xprog or vvdi prog, you can very easily extract the eeprom data, FULLY INTACT.

This really annoyed us with im608.

Vvdi prog is the best so far.

Function of the GT105 and tricore adapter:

GT105 provides uninterrupted power supply during the car battery replacement process to protect the car ECU data from being lost due to the power failure.

Read flash, prepare dealer key and learn key.

Done a lot of these, 30-40. No issues. But always with battery support.

2015 10 min. 2018 onwards up to 40 min.

Smart Pro does these in 5mins. Lost key too. Autel can add key no problem, nice no Lonsdor does them. Tools so powerful now.

PCMTuner is actually a scanmatik2 pro j2534 interface. It is not just an ecu chip tuning tool but can be used as j2534 passthru for diagnostic software.

Will Autel IM508 Program 2021 GMC Sierra 2500 Denali AKL?

Question:

I got a call today for a all keys lost on a 2021 GMC Sierra 2500 Denali (VIN 1GT19REY2MF158243). I would like to know if Autel IM508 or IM608 can do the job without problem. Autel web site states that the tool support GMC Sierra up to 2020 and GMC Denali up to 2021. It is confusing to me because this truck is a 2021 GMC Sierra Denali. It’s a push to start the ignition system . No key on this truck. I have the CAN FD Autel adapter. Any help will be appreciated to help me see more clearly on this case.

Test and report:

Today I finally reprogram 2 keys fob on this 2021 Chevy truck 2500 with the Autel Im508. No FD adapter needed. 15 minutes and the job was completed. Thanks Autel!

I had to configure the IM508 for a 2021 Chevrolet 3500 truck while my truck is a 2500. I did not use the FD adapter.

Not all GM products on the new system!! 2021 Trucks still on the old system. 2021 Suburban, Tahoe Escalade and some others are on the new system.

New test report: program 2018 Audi A6 – push to start key with autel maxiim im608 and xhorse smart key successfully.

Successfully able to program a key through OBD.

*this was not an “AKL” customer lost one key and wanted a spare programmed. The customer still had an original dealer key.

OEM dealership Audi key would have cost me $411 and Audi dealer would quote $600 for key and programming.

IM608 saves money.

Problem:

I have a 2019 turn key Subaru Impreza wrx US built all keys lost, tried to use autel im508 with the apb112 on an H chip, said not supported, any ideas?

Solution:

It works. follow the prompts.

Read immo data save it then use the apb112 simulator

Tips to program 2019 to 2021 Subaru kl Impreza/Crosstrek bladed key all keys lost.

Just read the eeprom, save it, load it onto the apb112.

Turn on ignition with tin foil around the key you cut and the apb112 next to it. Verify you did it right if the car can start.

Do a all keys lost then add your keys… Profit, hopefully, rinse and repeat.

Question: Does anyone have Fiat witech plus software free download for use with the micropod? Because the witech micropod 2 clone only does Chrysler, cannot scan Fiat.

The micropod is what the fiat dealers would use, it does firmware updates to all components on the canbus network – modified clones have been created with the witech software offline which would perform all functionality of diagnostics with the exception of updates.
