VAG DQ200 transmission TCU Read & Write all fine by pcmtuner on bench without any issues.

 Question: Does anyone have experience with this key, it’s pcf7935 – Mercedes Ml 270 2002 W163, can do it bench?

Key Cloning:
If you want a spare key without remote you can generate it with xhorse mini key tool via 7935 chip and car will start.
Xhorse can do but if not work try another position from 1 to 8.

But better not clone this key.

If you clone it and start the van then the original key will not work. 
This key cannot be cloned. It’s like all other rolling code. It will work once or twice if you are lucky then the original won’t work either. Same as the bmw ews system. Better program it.

Key Programming:
This is 2min OBD2 job with Avdi/Fvdi. First you have to prepare 7935 transponder for ML and then code it to the car!
it’s a eeprom/bench method only for the transponder. I believe the remote portion won’t work.

fvdi does the transponder only, you can install an aftermarket remote. And for easy method get the KR55 programmer from mbe.

 Question: Does Autel im608/im508 have the id48 clone like xhorse tools?

Answer:

Yes OBD clone Id48 with xp200/xp400.

But only on few cars only you can “clone” id48 (golf 6…)
Only immo system 2005+, immo gen 3, 5 & 4 (No old immo gen. 2 & 3 )
but it still needs to read immo data.

Here is an example of VW Jetta 2008 ID48 key cloning with Autel im508 xp200.
Same with XP400 or XP400 Pro.

We have an ID48 chip key inserted into the xp200 programmer

Go to Immobilizer- Volkswagen- Smart Mode

Detect vehicle information

Read instruction and identify number of keys

Select Copy Megamos 48 key

3 steps to complete key cloning:

1). Read Immo data

2). Read and write key

3).  Make dealer key

Insert start key and turn on ignition switch

It takes 1 minute to read immo data

Then select key ID to write key

Put a blank key in the xp200 programmer key hole and start making dealer key

Copy id48 key success

The key can start car

Done.

How to update Mini CN900 key programmer?

1. Browse to CN900 Mini official website, register and download latest CN900_MINI_Updater
2. Or you can directly download new updater and driver here
3. Delete previous updater file
4. Install driver for Win7 or Win8
4. Open the updater setup.exe
5. Click on Update button.
6. The main module of firmware is updating. Wait for upgrade procedure complete.

Where can I find black list for Nissan BCM?
This is a Qashqai 2017 BCM code. How can I be sure that it doesn’t have 1 of those dangerous BCM?

Solution:

Check the bcm number against the list.

These BCMs are in black list.  BCMs that carry a risk include:

284B1-3ZP0A
284B1-4CB0A
284B1-4CB1A
284B1-4CB2A
284B1-4CB3A
284B1-4CB4A
284B1-4CB5A
284B1-4CE1A

Nissan has a high failure rate with these BCMs when trying to program keys for Qashqai / X-Trail / Rogue 12-16.  Better walk away otherwise you need to replace the bcm with new one if get it bricked.

Except from the Nissan technical bulletin – If the last two digits of the BCM reference end in 0A 1A 2A 3A 4A, it may not be possible to encode the keys. 5A or more are all OK.

You can find the Nissan BCM black list directly on Autel/OBDSTAR/Lonsdor/SmartPro etc device.

These tools can read bcm number and show you a warning showing risky bcm numbers. Even im608 will warn you if you try programming key, that it might damage BCM.

 Several mistakes were made during this process but still can learn from it. 2016 Ford Explorer all smart keys lost done by Autel IM608. Belongs to car lot. Ordered 1 key for it. Fought active alarm and failed. Made 2 chirps then next step would set it off again. Seen a bcm read option so I pull it and getting ready to open it up I see the key code on sticker. I previously did not think it had the key pad but after looking again I see it in pillar very well hidden. Lol. Put it all back together and use keypad to deactivate and it works. So now onto programming key. Seen 4 keys and decide to do akl. (I know now) learned right in perfectly but now says it need 2 keys to finish. I looked through my truck and find a different ford smart key that reads same transponder but it’s locked. Throw it in slot and added a key. It went through the process but then said it failed. I backed out and looked and it said there was 2 keys. Sure enough. It closed out. Starts runs and drives with no issues.

BTW: Those keys are reusable. And they are the same keys just look different.  They work from 2016 and up.

Fords if you do AKL procedures you will need to add 2 keys, you could have just chosen add key then would have only need 1 key. Also you said you heard the 2 chirps then started to add key and alarm sounded again next time just continue to add key, that is how it worked for me. I did the deactivate alarm, I heard 2 chirps then started to add key, alarm sounded but I just went through the process then the key was added and alarm stopped.

 Just did today a New Keless Remote for Volvo V40 Cross Country 2013.

 Problem:

File version error code 4096. Failed to write data.

Menu path i went through: Write Key via Dump- BMW- CAS3+ (Semi-smart key)- MS9S12XDP512, then upload data to write key.

Wrong menu, use in menu IMMO- BMW. 
Exactly! Need to be done under imme menu. And function available only with XP400 or XP400 pro.

Go to immo, BMW, model, then key learning and to make key from dump, it will open the file properly, will ask to put the original key to the xp400 programmer for isn, then choose key position, click on write key, put new key to the programmer. Will make dealer key. Then just close it, go to car, put new key into slot, wait 2-5sec and done, car starts, doors opens. Finished.

 Problem: 

While trying to add key in VW Jetta 2019 under all keys lost situation (when reading immo data), autel im608 reports error “Server maintenance in progress. Retry in 999h Solution”. Any idea?

Solution:

Autel IM508/IM608 advanced VW immo 4 and immo4+mqb calculating services are still affected due to the VW service strategies, please ask for this immo data from VW dealer. but in expert selection menu, which still continues to work.

Problem:

I want to read MEDC17 FLASH with PCMTuner ecu programmer, it failed me.

 This is a 2014 Audi A6 IMMO5 with BCM2 unencrypted.

 

 

You need read bcm2 on bench, write key in dump to can turn the ignition on, then read ecu and tcu over abs CAN-L and CAN-H.

Then I unlock key with KD and make dealer key again and adopt on car.

 

The red cable i used is from MPPS, only +12, GND, CAN-L-H. You can use Blue cable from xp400.

Read BCM2 data
Read engine
Read ELV
Read TCU

I failed to read ELV data, but never mind,  I have immo data from bcm2 already.

Then unlock key with Keydiy KD-X2 under this option- Audi PCB2 4G0959754K 868M

Global version Autel MaxiIM IM608 and IM508 don’t have Australian Holden and Ford models.

How to activate AU Ford and Holden?

1). Get a global version IM608/IM508. Pay for Australian Ford and Holden licenses separately.   (Not recommended, it takes much more then option 2)

2). Get IM508 IM608 AU version directly.  Same price as global version. (Recommended.)
