No, the Mucar 892 BT can’t be converted to 892 BT PRO with a simple update.

Why is updating to Pro not possible?

1. Both versions use different licenses
Although the material is identical, the PRO version includes:

• licenses for advanced functions
• access to topology mapping
• more maintenance service functions.

These licenses are paid and related to the device’s serial number.

2. PRO firmware is not compatible with the standard version

Even if you manually install an APK, PRO functions do not activate without server validation.

Theres a diagram that explains connections for BMW f/g series.
Autel make an enet to obd2 adapter. Its like an esys cable. You need it. Then you also need a usb to ethernet adapter as the enet cable needs an rj45 ethernet connection. Plug usb to ethernet adapter into one usb port, plug jvci into other one.
Turn wifi off so jvci connects via usb only.
Do NOT use a charger when programming or coding on bmws. You need a dedicated power supply to provide bulk current capacity, not so much voltage. Car can draw 20 amps just sitting there with ignition on. Theres a bunch of routines they run through during the processes, anything could be randomly switched on thatll double or triple the current draw. A battery charger cant accommodate that, itll draw that demand from the battery and the system voltage will drop. Its this that causes corruption and damage to modules.
This is why you need a dedicated power supply.

Problem:

Added a spare key today to 2022 Toyota Kluge / Highlander HV using Autel IM508s along with Autel universal key for Toyota 8A.
Backed up eeprom file via OBD, followed guided add key, and programmed in successfully.
However trunk open button not functioning.

Did eco to immobiliser sync and all other buttons /keyless entry etc working great but need to get trunk button working.

Had same issue recently with a 2023 Rav4 hybrid. Any input?

Tutorial: How-to program Ford Escape 2020 all smart keys lost with OBDSTAR X300 Classic G3 by OBD.

No bypass cable or 3rd party pin code required.

Requires at least 2 keys to be programmed.

Select Ford- Select by module-Asia- Escape- Proximity- 2020

Read key number.
3 keys existed.

Select All Keys Lost
All keys will be erased.

G3 will ask to switch ignition off, which we don’t actually do.
Place the 1st key to be programmed into the slot.

Program 1st key successfully.

Place 2nd key to be programmed into key slot.

Problem:
Got the 2M2 Tank 2 Pro key cutting machine with a built-in battery. Everything worked normally until yesterday, when the machine suddenly shut down while not connected to a power source. The machine failed to charge the battery.

Troubleshooting Steps:

Step 1:
Remove the four screws on the bottom cover and measure the voltage across the yellow wire and black wire. If the reading is greater than 22V, proceed to Step 2.

Step 2:
Measure the voltage across the red wire and black wire. If the reading is below 20V, proceed to Step 3.

Step 3:
Using a power adapter, directly charge the device for approximately 1 hour according to the images below. Afterward, re-measure the voltage across the red and black wires (as in Step 2) to check if the reading is higher than before.

Once you have completed the tests, please send the results to 2M2 Tank engineers. They will analyze the findings and advise whether a battery replacement is needed.

Tried to read SsangYong Delphi DCM3.7AP ECU with EngineDance X5 ecu programmer via OBD mode. But it ask for the password based on the dynamic code. Where to get the password?

Problem:

Trying to read a VW Transporter 2.0 Delphi DCM6.2V ECU with Autotuner via OBD.  Autotuner reads the ECU ID but cannot connect to ECU.

Gave an initialization error 02.

What's the solution?

Solution:

1). When initializing ecu, try ignition off and after 3 sec ignition on. This can also happen on VW Crafter.

2). Check if there is an aftermarket alarm installed. Block it and try again.

Working on a 2025 Toyota GR86 with Lonsdor K518 Pro. Need to add a key, Does anyone know of this the same as the other Toyota rolling code procedure? Will the 3rd party calculate this for me?

1.) Provide rolling code to 3rd party to get pin code.

2). Provide the rolling code to Lonsdor engineer to calculate pin code.

How to get the pin code from Lonsdor?

It is recommended to provide an on-site video when providing code calculation services, in order to verify whether it is truly a total key loss situation. Please pay attention to the following 3 points:

1). The instrument cluster (the cluster must not be illuminated).

2). The center console (the center console should indicate it is not in an active/operational state), which is typical of a total key loss scenario.

3). The OBD port should only have Lonsdor K518 device connected, with no additional data collection equipment attached.

Send the rolling code to us after payment, then Lonsdor engineer will calculate pin code.
