Here is the Pcmtuner (PCM Flash) ecu data processing service process guide for functions such as power adjustment, immo off, dpf/egr remove, dtc shielding, etc.

1. Read the Flash data of the ECU via the pcmtuner software.

If you only buy the USB smart dongle, they need to find another device to read the flash data, such as Tactrix Openport 2.0, Scanmatik 2 PRO,etc.

Save flash data

2. Read out the flash data of the ecu + car model + ECU model and send them to the obdii365.com, verify that the payment has been finished, and submit them to the factory for

revision [customer explains his needs (functions such as power transfer, immo off, dpf/egr, remove, dtc shielding, etc.)]

Autel IM508 Program Mercedes W230 SL55 Key

Autel IM508 program a spare key to Mercedes Benz SL 55 AMG R230 / W230 via OBD successfully.

It took a long time in order to get the password, but in the end, succeed.

I used the Get password function.

It took little bit longer than 30min and I had to switch the key between the EIS and the key reader many many times.

Car started straight away. Two keys are programmed.

Autel IM608 Cannot Do 2020 Corvette All Keys Lost?

Solution:

For IM608, you need CAN FD adapter and can only do it during tech hours of Autel. You call them and read the code and they give you the codes to program the keys.

If you want to do the new GM’s you need to really consider getting the obdstar x300 dp plus and CAN FD adapter. it fills more gaps when paired with the im508 then the key tool plus did with the im508.

it’s good on Asian cars too. I had 2 nissan fails in the last month, 1 was a Sentra, forgot the other one, obdstar did it Fine. Autel did program the chip part, but not remote.

How to Submit Data Report to Autel KM100?

If failed to generate/copy the transponder chip or remote with Autel MaxiIM KM100, you can send log data to Autel technical support.

Follow guide here to send log data.

Go to Generate Transponder function, press icon on the upper left corner

Select type of exception to help the engineer locate the problem, then press OK

Submit the problem in detail and provide KM100 serial number.

Autel engineer will analyze your problem and leave feedback.

Question: I changed computer so I reinstalled pcmtuner software on another notebook... I've downloaded everything again, I enter my Data but it says already registered user and won't let me log in... does anyone know anything?

Pcmtuner software and hardware are licensed per PC. You would need to reinstall with a different email, then contact the seller again and explain the situation to get license reactivated for new pc.

Question:

I can use PCMTuner, I already made the registration when installing the PCM Tuner. I can open the software. but I can’t access vz-performance. The device has been activated. I can now access the https://www.tuner-box.com/ website and the PCM software. But the website https://support.vz-performance.com/ I can’t. Any idea?

Fix PCMTuner Cannot Access VZ-performance 1

Solution:

If you don’t have your device activated. Provide your pcm tuner serial number to your dealer to activate the device.

Also provide the email address and serial number to activate the VZ-performance account separately.

If you are a new user, leave a note to us that you need to activate both pcmtuner software and VZ account.

VZ-performance account password is no longer your email address.

Try to use your email as username and serial number as password.

User Name= registered Email, Password= Software Serial Number.

Fix PCMTuner Cannot Access VZ-performance 2

The factory will synchronize the serial number in the next update.
It will fix this bug. So users don’t need to activate vz-performance separately.

Please do activation until the next software update is released.

Here comes the solution to GM MDI or MDI2 multiple diagnostic interface GDS2 Sata hard drive (HDD) ‘no valid lease found’ solution.

The problem is usually caused by copying the HDD contents.

For customers who want to backup the GM MDI software, but get the error code “No Valid Lease Found”.

You have to activate GDS2 software again.

I got the X-prog3 (G III) to program keys with Launch X431 PAD VII tablet. I run a firmware upgrade but it failed me yesterday.

Here is the guide to set up Autel KM100 and pair WiFi.

then go back to settings and select ‘VCI Manager’ and plug in the VCI to a USB-C charger to power it on

Autel IM608 BMW Mini Bar Code Remote Programming Guide

Finally got the bar bmw/mini code remote to work with Autel IM608 (as well as IM508) so thought I would share.

To find the option to program remotes you need to go

Diagnostic > Service > Body > Central Body > Central Body Electronics

Once there you can the remote section. In the menu you have 4 options.

1 – Is to read slots

2 – Is to program slot

3 – Is to delete slot

Can’t remember what 4 is now

Start by reading slots, all blank slots will just be F’s Once you know what slot to uses, go into programming option 2

It’s asks you for the following

A 6 digit “Base Code”

A 6 digit “Random Code”

And a 16 digit “Encryption Code”

To get these numbers you need to put both code numbers together as one code. You also need to include the dash’s as digits. Once both codes are together you have a 35 digit number. Then remove certain digits to make the codes they need.

Photo’s below should explain.

But you remove the first 2 digits, then the next 6 are the base, the next 6 are the random, use the last 2 of the top number and remove the next 3, then next 14 make the last number. But also delete the last two if writing down.

Once remote coded to slot, need to sync to car.

I was doing a mini one R50 2002 and the only way I could get to work was to cycle the ignition and leave on, then just held the lock button for around 5-10 seconds and it worked.
