Program VW Golf 2014 MQB All Keys Lost with Autel IM508
Autel built-in MQB calculator review from Mr.Peter:
“Share my today’s experience with MQB build-in calculator. I have Autel IM508 + XP400Pro + GBOX2. Car was VW Golf7 2014 with manual gearbox without keyless start.
So, all you need to get sync data is read ECM and cluster immo data.
ECM data was pulled out with Gbox connected to car battery (MED17.1.25). Autel read flash and eeprom data to calculate immo data.
I read cluster data with APB131 adapter without any issues. Chip was D70F3526 so you have to remove 3 capacitors but its quite big sized so it is not so serious problem.
After reading of both datas, I went to AKL function menu, where I upload all data and Autel generated me sync file and prepare dealer key.
Last step was to install everything back in car, clear fault codes and start key matching.
All done in aprrx 3 hours (with 2 times journey to car).

How to Fix CGDI Prog MB V3.4.0.0 Error 25E1?
Problem:
Update v3.4.0.0 has been released. However, after updating to v3.4.0.0, my CGDI MB firmware won’t update, returning error 25E1. The program doesn’t recognize the CGDI MB or serial number. When I roll back to v3.3.6.6, the program recognizes the CGDI MB and serial number.
Solution:
3.4.0.0 works but aslo need update firmware of CGDI MB.
How to Fix Ford FDRS Login Failed Problem?
Problem:
Tried to program a Ford Transit 2022 spare smart key with Autel IM608 II JVCI+ passthru and Ford FDRS. But failed to login into FDRS after buying subscription.
Error: authorization has failed.
Solution:
You need to install the new version to use it with their new system.
Their website has instructions and the link to newest.
UPDATE!
Uninstalled FDRS, and redownloaded the same version again.
And remember always plug into vehicle before testing connectivity to device. And absolutely make sure you have +12 v.
Download FDRS after subscription and it worked fine.

Yanhua Mini ACDP2 BMW CAS4 File Verification Failed Solution
Problem:
Try to work with Yanhua ACDP2 and BMW CAS4 I get this issue. It reads eeprom, says successful read, but then shows this error (File Verification Failed. MD5 inconsistency). When I add key and write back the file, the key never works, but works when I add key via OBD.
Solution:
In CAS4 system you don’t need to write back file ! CAS3 Ista version also, no write back.
Just make key with eeprom.
No need to write the file back. Just add the key and choose a blank slot. The magic happens automatically when you hold the key to the steering column. Think logically, when BMW send a dealer key, they aren’t writing anything to the cas. They just send a key ready to use after holding against the column, you are doing the EXACT same thing.

I tried to install Yanhua ACDP 2 to my PC but could not find the module. Still “searching device”. I downloaded and installed the pl2303 prolific gos 1013. After I tried to change internet protocol version 4 but still searching. Can you help me to install the ACDP 2 in PC (I have Windows 10 PRO).
Solution:
He was installing the wrong PC software. It’s for ACDP1.
Download the correct PC software for ACDP2.

Lonsdor K518 Pro Adds 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe Smart Key
How to add a spare smart key to a Chevrolet Tahoe, manufactured in June 2016 using Lonsdor K518 Pro?
These vehicles are often considered 2017 models, as the sixth month is a transitional year for American cars. If the year is a transitional year, the programming procedure and even the key type may differ significantly.
However, in our case, it’s quite simple—regardless of whether this Tahoe is considered a 2016 or 2017. Dealer tools are not required, but a programmer with immobilizer support is still required.
Step 1: Read Pin Code
Select IMMO & Remote- Chevrolet- USA/Canada-Tahoe- 2017 to 2019 -Smart key- Read PIN Code.
Read 4-digit pin code successfully.
Step 2: Add smart key
If select Add smart key from this menu path, Lonsdor will report an error Security access verification failed.
An interesting challenge arose regarding the model year. We initially selected 2016 but encountered a communication error. Switching to the previous model year (likely 2015 for this “transitional” 2016 vehicle) resolved the issue immediately. This serves as a vital tip: if you encounter an error when programming a GM vehicle, trying an adjacent model year is a practical first step.
Select Chevrolet- USA-Tahoe-2015 to 2016 year- Program smart key- Add smart key.
Turn on igntion switch.
Put the smart key to be programmed into the key slot, take other keys ourside the car.
The slot here is under the cup holder.
Read current key numbers.
Enter 4-digit pin to access.
Lonsdor k518 pro starts 10-minute configuration of the system process.
The new key was programmed successfully.
Hold down the start button for 12 sec.
Release the start button and wait for 5 sec.
Press and hold the start button until the dashboard turns on.
Press the start button to switch ignition off.
Open and close the driver’s door.

How to Open and Remove BMW U Chassis BDC03 Smart Key?
BMW U-Series BDC3 smart keys are extremely difficult to disassemble. Extra caution must be taken when copying these BDC3 keys.
Solderless clips only work for G-Series BDC3 models; soldering is mandatory for U-Series.

How to Disassemble BMW U Chassis BDC3 Smart Key?
Step 1: Disassemble the Key Shell
Remove the silver side trim.
Take out the mechanical key.
Remove the battery tray.
Step 2: Disassemble the Mainboard
First, remove the lower shell.
Use a screwdriver to push the clips on the upper cover, then remove the car emblem and side buttons.
Step 3: Take out the Circuit Board
Use a blade to cut through the ultrasonic welding seam.
Carefully cut along the ultrasonic welding line.
Pry open the clips.
The key circuit board can now be removed.
