 How to read pin code and add a spare blade key to a Citroen C3 2021 using OBDSTAR X300 Classic G3?

Need to update Peugeot/Citroen software to v42.77.
Select Read Pin Code (By CAN with working key)->Fuel type

The process takes 1-10 minutes.
Turn off the ignition switch.

Read 4-digit pin code successfully.

Select Auto Detect Model->Peugeot
Enter VIN and confirm vehicle information
Press Yes
Select Blade key->Program Keys

Switch ignition on
All keys will be erased during this procedure.
Enter pin code to access.

Enter number of keys to be programmed. All keys should be learned. Maximum is 5 keys.

Turn off ignition switch.
Insert 1st key within 15 sec and switch the ignition on
Program success. Switch ignition off and remove the key.

 Problem:

Programmed a smart key into a 2023 Toyota Yaris Cross using Autel IM608 II, and it works fine but when you get in the car to start it, it says “new key registered, contact dealer”. But it works fine and is registered correctly in the system. How I can delete it?

The error happens on new Toyotas often.  This is normal on all new Toyota.

Drive it for a while/a couple of days/weeks, it will go away!!!

It’s part of the Toyota security and the key needs to be linked with Toyota.

That’s some of the new features in Toyota to let the owner know that there is a new key programmed to the car in case you did not approve a new key and someone made a copy while you were not there. If all works fine and there is no codes it should go away in a few start cycles.

Problem:

Tried to program smart key for Renault Clio V 2020 with Autel IM608 II Pro. I purchased 2 tokens in the device. But still failed to unlock security gateway.

“Lock failed.

Error message: Response failed. Unable to obtain the key to unlock the gateway. Please contact customer service.

code=17 ”

Here is the clue.
The Renault gateway unlock token is only used to unlock security gateway to perform diagnostic functions (active test, special functions).

For Immobilizer functions, you need to hook up the Renault gateway adapter.

For 2019- Renault Clio V/Captur II, you can also remove HFM to read pin from dump using APB131 adapter.
Renault menu: IMMO-Renault-Clio v-Key Learning, unit programming, choose remote learning.

Making dealer key for VW with Yanhua ACDP2 module 33 on bench and it says this when i put key into pcf key adapter.

Error “PCF-Key Adapter version is low”.

Where I have to update the adapter firmware?

All keys lost on a 2014 Volkswagen Passat push to start!! This car gave me a lot of trouble in the beginning but after trying to put the key in the system 3 different ways it finally worked.

How to Clone and Adapt Mercedes Benz MAG Turbo VGS FDCT transmission gearbox TCU with Launch X431 PAD VII and X-prog3 on bench.

Launch has a set of solder free TCU adapters for X-prog3.

Back up eeprom and flash data of the original TCU.

Despite needing two tools for full coverage, the Dimsport Trasdata is a high-quality Bench tool known for its stable and reliable connection throughout the tuning process. Like the New Genius, the Trasdata is available in both master and slave versions, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced tuners.

However, it’s important to note that the combination of the Dimsport New Genius and Trasdata comes at a higher cost compared to Alientech’s KESS3, which offers all these functionalities in a single tool. While Dimsport offers excellent tools, the combined price of the New Genius and Trasdata can make this option more expensive than the KESS3’s all-in-one solution.

The Trasdata tool is Dimsports bench tuning tool. (the Alientech equivalent was the K-TAG). This is the tuning device required when you need to remove the ECU for Boot mode tuning, or when performing service mode tuning direct to the ECU pins. The Trasdata is a good all-round tool with probe and adapters available to make connections as easy as possible.

Until now, there was not much in it between the combination of Alientechs Kess V2 and K-tag. And Dimsport’s Genius and Trasdata. Many tuners preferred the open file format of Alientech system leaving you free to use any editing software you wanted. Where as the Dimsport tools remained tied to their own Race2000 editing software. Limiting the tuners use and preference to software. The tie was eventually removed by Dimsport but only after many tuners had moved to other tools.

The Dimsport Trasdata is Dimsport’s dedicated Bench reading tool, designed to handle the ECUs that the Dimsport New Genius cannot access. To cover the entire Dimsport vehicle list, you’ll need both the Dimsport Trasdata and the New Genius. This is a notable difference from Alientech, where the KESS3 provides an all-in-one solution for OBD, Bench, and Boot mode.

There is also DFBtechnology have a very reliable tool for all type of car-van-bike etc… but less obd protocols obd.
Autotuner is good only because have no subscription, but forgot to do bike, truck and a lot of old ecus.
