How to flash OTOFIX D1 series diagnostic scanner firmware in case the device is stuck or crashed?
You can download flash file and check reflash instructions.
The flash file is compatible with OTOFIX D1, D1 Pro, D1 Max, D1 ProS and D1 Lite.

Preparation
1. A TF card (larger than 4G, please backup all personal files)
2. A card reader.
3. Windows computer (make sure the windows computer USB port has write permission.)
4. “update.img” file.
5. “SDDiskTool”program.
6. A D1 which need to be flashed.
Step 1: Install Flash File
1. Copy “update.img” to Windows computer. Insert the TF card to card reader and plug the card read to computer USB port.
2. Decompress the “SDDiskTool_v1.61.zip” to computer, will see the “SDDiskTool_v1.61” folder.
3. Run “SD_Firmware_Tool.exe” program in “SDDiskTool_v1.61” like the following screenshot:
4. Select removable disk. The inserted TF card will be selected automatically in normal case, but if more than 1 removable disk inserted in the computer, then need to select the TF card manually or remove other removable disk.
5. Tick firmware upgrade.
6. Click “select firmware” and select the “update.img” file.
7. Click “Start to crate” and select “OK” in the pop-up warning window. (The TF card will be formatted in this step, please make sure personal files backed up already)
8. It may take 7 mins to finish the step. It will show successful window and please click “OK”
Step 2: Copy Keepcar File (Optional)
If do not want to reset the D1 to factory default (Means will keep the history diagnostic files and photos), please copy the “keepcar.txt” to TF card root menu. Otherwise, please delete the “keepcar.txt”.
Step 3: Flash The OTOFIX D1
(Please make sure the electricity is greater than 30%)
Insert the TF card to the D1 which need to be flashed. Long press the power button to reboot the D1, it will go to flash process automatically. And can take out the TF card once the screen shows successful.
Step 4: NV Configuration
1. Copy the Logos and NvConfigs to the device ES file- Local-inernal storage.
2. Open “序列号烧录” APP, the second option “清除log” means clear logo, should press one time to clear.
3. Click “写入logo” to write the logo, select otofix, and click OK.
4. Click “清除开机动画” to clear boot animation
5. Click “设置开机动画” Set the boot animation, select otofix, and click OK
6. Click “写入NV配置” to write NV configuration, check the corresponding NV, click OK, the device will restart automatically.
Step 5: Clean Up The System
Reboot the D1 and go to: System Settings — -System — -Reset — -Factory Data Reset (select erase SD card) — — Reset The Device and the device will reboot automatically.

It’s the same thing as a Nissan Rogue. You need to bypass pin code with 40-PIN gateway adapter.

What Tool to Read Bosch MED9.1 US CAN BUS ECU?
Problem:
Trying to clone Audi Bosch MED9.1 ECU. I’ve tried with Xhorse Multi Prog and OBDSTAR DC706. Both tools cannot access the ECU. Both tools say to only hook up K-line no CAN H & CAN L lines hooked up to the ecu. When I have it hooked up on the bench to my Autel ultra with CAN H and CAN L the ecu communicates I am able to clear and see codes and ecu info. Has anyone been able to read Med9.1 CAN BUS???
Solution:
If it’s USA model it won’t work. USA models use CAN BUS and rest of the world use k-line.
So if all your wiring up is power ground and one wire and this is USA model then that’s why it won’t work.
Multi prog, DC706 and FC200 etc works fine with MED9.1 K-line ECU. PCMFlash module 77 also read MED9.1.
If CAN BUS, use Ktag, KT200 or Foxflash to clone in BDM mode.
User experience:
1). I had to use kt200 with bdm solder method to clone this ecu.
2). I have succesfully cloned this ECU with just KTAG/KESS3 (BDM).
3). I used Foxflash in BDM mode, and it cloned it perfectly.

Compared with GT105, GT105 II has added 5 new functions:

We’ve done lots of dsg with just foxflash no other tool needed. Foxflash reads them just fine, you need either old godiag gt105+gt107 OR just newer model Godiag GT107+ in case you failed to read these DSG gearbox TCUs on bench.
How to Reset Maserati Oil Service with Autel AP200?
I registered the Autel AP200 scanner. Set up password. Entered Maserati , GTs, VIN, etc. Used my freebie download the Maserati packet.
Once plugged in and Bluetooth turned on, LED on top of the dongle turns from green to blue, (connected). Select the AP200 app on my phone.
here are my next steps to reset the wrench. Oil reset/wrench is found under SERVICE.
Open the Autel App
Select Service
Select Oil Reset
Select Maserati
Select your model
Select Hot Function
Then you get to a screen that offers Write service information (which is what I have used before) and Auto Oil Reset.

Autel IM608 BMW FEM BDC ECU Erasure Reset Function
Problem:
I tried to renew this BMW F30 FEM module with Autel IM608 after I modified the m95126 eeprom when I go to process the ECU it fails at the end and the issue becomes non-responsive bricked.
Error “Programming failed, restore the EEPROM data to prevent loss of version information”
Any solution?
Solution:
1st try upgrade to flash supported version !
2nd special function ecu erasure, will delete everything on fem, renew as new, write vin and isn, program keys on car via OBD.
Go to System Selection->Immobilizer->FEM/BDC Immobilizer->Special function->ECU erasure reset.
This function will erase immobilizer data storaged in ECU, after that FEM/BDC will restore original module status without immobilizer data.
Network connection is required to perform this function.

How to connect Launch Smartlink C 2.0 heavy duty truck module with the 10-pin jumper cable?
The Smartlink C 2.0 truck module is an extension module for Launch X431 Pro3S+ and X431 V+ to diagnose heavy duty trucks.
This is the Jumper-10 cable.
There is a converter in the package (marked red below).
Remove the red connector on the top of the converter.
Then connect the converter with Launch smartlink VCI.
Then you can connect these wire harness with the 10-pin jumper cable.
