OBDSTAR G3 Read 2020- FIAT Hybrid BSI IMMO Data via OBD
OBDSTAR X300 Classic G3 update EUROPEN Fiat PANDA/500/NEW DOBLO HYBRID and LANCIA YPSILON 2020-2024 blade key programming in July 2024.
Background: Read IMMO Data by BCM, which can be used for showing IMMO information, making dealer keys, etc.
Note: The following steps are based on KEYMASTER G3 as an example, please strictly follow the device prompts to operate.
Preparation: KEYMASTAR G3, OBDII main cable.
Detailed steps:
1. Connect the KEYMASTAR G3 to the vehicle by the OBDII main cable and enter【IMMO】interface
2. Tap the search box in the upper right corner and search for【FIAT】
3. Select【Manual Select System】
4. Select【BSI(PRE-CODING)】
5. Select【DELPHI 70F3632/70F3633(ID46)】
6. Select【TYPE 3(2020-Hybrid)】
7. Make sure the network is connected and tap【OK】
8. Select【Advanced Functions】
9. Select【Read IMMO Data】
10. Turn on the ignition switch and tap【OK】to start reading
11. Read successfully, tap【OK】
12. Confirm the file name and tap【OK】
13. Show IMMO Info.
Then you can make dealer key and learn key with the immo data.
Autel IM608 BMW FEM BDC ECU Erasure Reset Function
Problem:
I tried to renew this BMW F30 FEM module with Autel IM608 after I modified the m95126 eeprom when I go to process the ECU it fails at the end and the issue becomes non-responsive bricked.
Error “Programming failed, restore the EEPROM data to prevent loss of version information”
Any solution?
Solution:
1st try upgrade to flash supported version !
2nd special function ecu erasure, will delete everything on fem, renew as new, write vin and isn, program keys on car via OBD.
Go to System Selection->Immobilizer->FEM/BDC Immobilizer->Special function->ECU erasure reset.
This function will erase immobilizer data storaged in ECU, after that FEM/BDC will restore original module status without immobilizer data.
Network connection is required to perform this function.

Read key information again.

How to connect Launch Smartlink C 2.0 heavy duty truck module with the 10-pin jumper cable?
The Smartlink C 2.0 truck module is an extension module for Launch X431 Pro3S+ and X431 V+ to diagnose heavy duty trucks.
This is the Jumper-10 cable.
There is a converter in the package (marked red below).
Remove the red connector on the top of the converter.
Then connect the converter with Launch smartlink VCI.
Then you can connect these wire harness with the 10-pin jumper cable.

Does Thinkdiag2 Suport DoIP?
Question:
Have tried the new Thinkdiag2 vci with diagzone on a Volvo in menu it cam up with use CAN OR DOIP tried doip did not work. Ok on CAN. Is there anyway to use the Thinkdiag2 DOIP protocol?

Here is the clue.
The Thinkdiag2 is similar to Launch DBScar VII (not exactly the same, check the comparison here).
The DBscar VII supports CAN FD and DoIP protocol, so does the Thinkdiag 2.
The Thinkdiag2 scanner has its own software for iOS and Android called Thinkdiag +, Bluetooth connection. There is a rumor that it does not have new DOIP protocol for fast reading of Volvo SPA. It is not true.
You should use a special adapter (DoIP Connect cable). You use the same cable for DBscar VII.
Same connection as DBscar 7 and DoIP cable.

Important: read immo data to bypass the 3 datalines or the direct connection to the smartbox.
Procedure:
Select Toyota->Highlander->Proximity->2018 up
Read current number of smart keys.
Read immo data via OBD mode.
Open the emergency flasher, press the start button 5 times.
Reading immo data and save it.
Then select Add smart keys.
Make sure immo data has been read.
Choose the immo data read in step 1

Put the working key close to the Start button and the buzzer will beep once.
Put the new key to be programmed to the start button and the buzzer will beep twice.
Program completed. Test the new key.

This EDC16 ECU requires P003+ adapter. DC706 will read this ECU on bench.

Autel IM608 03-08 VW Touareg AKL via OBD or Bench?
Will Autel IM608 program 2005 VW Touareg All Keys Lost via OBD?
If you look at the vehicle coverage database it gives you an option to do all keys lost via OBD.
If you select All keys losy via OBD, you are going to get this prompt.
The device says this will make some modifications to the vehicle like the engine control unit and they have the risk of damaging critical components.
Some use the ODIS because in this paticular vehicle you cannot do it on the bench.
It is not covered on the IM508/IM608.
You can use ODIS software and have one original key at least from the dealer and then you will be able to register it safetly that way.
It is not worthing doing it via OBD.
Every time you work on these VW and Audi, they have that option to do it through OBD, it is always safer to do it on the bench.
How to Solve OBDSTAR P50 DiagProgram Has Stopped?
