Free Download Ford and Mazda IDS Patch for Topdon Rlink
Problem:
Topdon Rlink Lite j2534 device and Mazda IDS V137 software failed to connect with a Mazda8 2.3L MPV. The Rlink platform manager tool detected the Rlink VCI. But the Software had no communication with the vehicle.
Error: VCM USB cable communication error.
Solution:
He didn’t crack the Mazda IDS software.
Topdon 2TB hard drive contains the MazdaTool and FordTool patch. For Topdon Rlink X7 users, download Mazda or Ford patch separately.
For Mazda IDS software, run MazdaTool patch.
Hit “Cracked“, then click “Restore“.
Wait until the restore finishes successfully.
NOTE: Cracking takes time. Don’t close the patch until the cracking is complete.
Close the MazdaTool patch.
Run the patch again.
Cracked Mazda IDS again.
As long as the computer is not turned off, there is no need to crack it for a second time.
Then select the driver as J2534 VCI.
Adapt J2534 VCI successfully.
Run Rlink Platform.
Both Rlink adapter and the vehicle are connected.
Go to Driver Management. Make sure Mazda driver is installed.
Select Rlink mode.
Run Mazda IDS software.
The Rlink scanner now connects with vehicle without problem.
Similar procedure goes to Ford IDS.
NOTE: Rlink J2534 is not compatible with Ford/Mazda IDS software. Requires Rlink X7 or Rlink Lite.
Yanhua ACDP What Module Has Daily Connection Limitations
As titled, what Yanhua ACDP Modules have Daily Connection Limitations?
Module 16, module 26, module 27 and module 30 require server connections. These modules are limited to 6 connections/calculations per day.
Modules 16 is for Benz 722.8 722.9 Gearbox Cloning and reflash.
Module 26 is Ford Renault DPS6 Gearbox Cloning.
Module 27 is for BMW MSV80 MSD8X MSV90 DME Read/Write ISN and Cloning.
Module 30 is for Continental DQ500 OBH Gearbox mileage correction.
Some other modules are limited to 100 connections.
If the daily limit is exceeded, you will see this error message (The number of device calculations has reached the limit).
After 6 times calculation it’s shuts you down. You need to try next day or contact Yanhua engineer to calculate manually.
How to Solve Londsor K518 No Car List After Upgrade?
Some users reported that their Londsor K518 Pro/K518ISE has no car list after the device update.
Here is the solution.
Go to One click update- Force update.
Go back to main menu, you can see car list after force update.
Other possible solutions:
1.Update it again and it will show up.

Xhorse MLB Tool Keydiy MLB Key ID All FF Error Solution
Problem:
Tried to add a spare to an Audi A4 2018 using Xhorse VVDI MLB Tool and Keydiy MLB key.
VVDI MLB tool collected data ok, but failed to generate the dealer key. ID all FF.
Can I program MLB key with VVDI MLB tool using Keydiy key?
Solution:
If the brand new KD blank MLB key shows ID all FF, it cannot be used to generate dealer key directly.
You need to modify key ID, then generate dealer key.
Go to Special Function- Modify key ID.
Tick “use random key ID” and modify ID.
Then generate keydiy MLB key and learn key.
If you use KD MLB key, select Non-OEM key option and it will take 200 points to generate the KD key.

How to Tell BMW DME Type by VIN?
Question:
Working on a 2016 BMW 340i all keys lost using Yanhua Mini ACDP2. I have the DME and FEM module on the bench. Is there a way to identify what model Bosch I have from the tag or do I have to bust this open to check the chip?
How to quickly identify BMW DME type if need to read ISN code from DME when all keys lost?
Way 1: from BMW VIN sticker.
Way 2:
If you don’t have BMW VIN sticker, you can quickly identify DME type from this website.
You can search the Bosch DME database with that part number it will tell you what DME it is.
Visit www.realoem.com.
Select BMW.
Search by the last 7.
Browse parts.
Engine Electrical Systems.
DME part number will be listed.
The search will also give you the Chassis code and the engine code.
Just put the 7 last digits of the vin and it will give you all you need.
In this case, the DME type is MDS85.

Since AUTEL has removed US Toyota/Lexus all keys lost programming function, which of the following devices would be a better alternative?

Here is the clue based on users’ reviews.
Lonsdor:
Lonsdor is the best for Toyota. K518 pro is the ballocks for Toyota/Lexus smart keys.
Especially with the support of LT20/LT30 smart keys and data reading without the needing of any natsf code.
The best and easiest and cheapest universal key programming device.
Lonsdor has worked well on Toyota. Programming steps are easy. For example, done a Highlander 2023 all keys lost. Backup immo generate key simulator antenna open switch then add key and done.
Xhorse
Xhorse Key Tool Plus covers 95% of jobs, however I’d go for lonsdor, as autel and xhorse removing some manufacturers lonsdor still have them.
Xhorse is not good in Toyota, it can not do H blade all keys lost. You need in and out code for those cars.
If you need the cheapest tool for Toyota, go for Key Tool Max Pro instead. The Key Tool Max pro can do all those cars. You can even do all those smart keys from your phone with the xhorse toyota smart obd tool.
AutoProPAD:
If only doing Asian cars auto pro pad is the one to go with.
If in your area the cars you work on most are made in USA, Canada then go for Auto pro pad it can do both blade and smart keys.
People have done multiple Toyotas. Recent ones being 2024-2025 Toyota AKL. Never failed.
Autopro pad same as smart pro.
Smart Pro:
Smart pro for older ones it’s the fastest and generates the key from immo data. smart pro is very user-friendly, but it is expensive and requires tokens. It is the best machine for Ford active alarm.
The Smart Pro is unreal for jobs like VW AKL, and some vehicles that are troublesome, but pretty much every job will use a token and hence costs you.
In sum:
All four are very good. You need all of them. You need to have many to get everything covered.
Autel IM608 II Fail to Add BMW G20 BDC3 Key Solution
One of our customers reported that he failed to add a spare key to a BMW 316 G20 BDC3 system with Auel IM608 II programmer.
He generated the Autel BMW ikey with same fcc ID before programming, then disassembled the original key, read data and learn key. But the key is not working.
Possible solutions:
He made a mistake.
Don’t need to generate the key before programming!!!
The Autel is generating the new key automatically so you don’t have to pre-generate the new key.
The point is: Make another key without doing anything just put a new key on the programmer and everything will be handled successfully.
If you don’t have another Autel BMW ikey, no problem.
Generate the Autel key that you have as another key even if Hyundai or Kia and then put it directly on the programmer while programming the new key.
The point is to wipe out the BMW generation FCC ID from the Autel key that you have.
NOTE:
AUTEL does not support add key for all BDC3 Immo system vehicle models.
1. Ensure it is within the list of supported models.
2. MUST use Autel BMW ikey smart key. Autel does not accept other aftermarket or OEM key.
3. For keys with model years between 2020-2024 and the “Hungary” marking in the upper right corner, the success rate is higher.
4. Make sure you follow the correct instructions/steps to add key. Double-check the wiring connection during the read key data process.

OBDSTAR P50 Cannor Reset Toyota Camry 2025 Airbag?
Problem:
I’m working on a 2025 Toyota Camry airbag module (part number 89170-06C60) and running into an issue. My OBDSTAR P50 scan tool only shows “Diag Only” — no option to reset the crash data.
Has anyone successfully cleared/reset crash data on this model yet?
Are there any alternative methods, bench solutions, or tools that support this year?
Solution:
OBDSTAR says diag only. It can only read and erase DTC, it cannot erase airbag crash for this part number.
This processor (CYT2B93BAC) is not possible to read with any programmer.
No way by any tool, only buy new module from dealer.

There are 3 ways to connect the key board with xp400 pro:

Use a solder-free clip to connect the key to the programmer.
It is recommended to use the APB113 adapter for more stable data reading.
Then connect the apb113 adapter to the xp400 pro to read key data.
Step 3: Generate dealer key
This function only generates Autel BMW ikey.
Place the Autel BMW ikey to the coil of XP400 Pro like this.
Then start generating key.
