CG100X now supports read and write to repair BMW F35 Electronic Steering Column module.

Processor: Renesas V850 D70F3483

This is the module with processor.

In CG100X software, select BCM function- BMW-F35- Steering Column- D70F3483

Check wiring diagram.

Connect CG100X with module follow the diagram.

Reading chip information.

Save data. The data combines dflash + pflash full data.

Modify data.

Then write the modified data back to the steering column module. 

Finally install the module back to vehicle without programming anymore.

Problem:

 I’m working on a 2025 Toyota Camry airbag module (part number 89170-06C60) and running into an issue. My OBDSTAR P50 scan tool only shows “Diag Only” — no option to reset the crash data.

Has anyone successfully cleared/reset crash data on this model yet?

Are there any alternative methods, bench solutions, or tools that support this year?

Solution:

OBDSTAR says diag only. It can only read and erase DTC, it cannot erase airbag crash for this part number. 

This processor (CYT2B93BAC) is not possible to read with any programmer.

No way by any tool, only buy new module from dealer.

 Autel has released a new update for the first time once again. This update adds the key programming function for BMW G series BDC3 immo system.

It is getting immo from key not from BDC3 module. It is safer.

Need to add an Autel BMW ikey universal smart key.

The current function only supports adding keys for some BDC3 models, not all.
For keys with model years between 2020-2024 and the “Hungary” marking in the upper right corner, the success rate is higher.

Main steps to add BMW G Series BDC3 Key with Autel:

Go to Smart mode- scan BMW BDC3 immo module- select Add key function.

Step 1: Read vehicle info
Step 2: Read key data
This step requires disassembling the original key and reading data from original key.

There are 3 ways to connect the key board with xp400 pro:

1. Use the APB113 adapter (it is included in the IMKPA kit) to connect the key to the xp400 programmer.

2. Use a wiring harness to connect the key to the xp400 programmer.

3. Use a solder-free clip to connect the key to the programmer.

It is recommended to use the APB113 adapter for more stable data reading.

Then connect the apb113 adapter to the xp400 pro to read key data.

Step 3: Generate dealer key
This function only generates Autel BMW ikey.
Place the Autel BMW ikey to the coil of XP400 Pro like this.

Then start generating key.

 Problem:

When generating emergency key for 2024 Toyota tundra with the Lonsdor lt20 board set to “BA” and Pke frequency 314.35:312.09. After reading immo data with Lonsdor K518 Pro try to generate emergency key using the lt20 board and it says this now (error No valid key data found or PEPS is brand new). it was not saying this before. Any solution?

Solution:

It’s not the LT20 key problem.
Here is no valid key data in PEPS smart box.

The smart box of this car should have been reset and there is no key information. Enter this menu to reset the smart box.

Menu path:

IMMO & Remote- Toyota- Select from type- All smart key lost- Type 3 (2022-)- 8A- Reset PEPS (AKL).

If this menu does not work, it is not supported.

What key can be used with CGDI Prog MB key programmer?

Here is the clue.

CGDI MB doesn’t force you to buy or use CGDI MB keys with that device.

You can use Xhorse BE keys (with green or yellow board). Never had problems with that combination.

You can use also used Benz keys to reset them and program them. Tested many times and it works.
You can use also aftermarket Benz keys. They also working.

Only thing is to buy FBS3 keyless keys from CGDI MB if you’re doing keyless cars.
Keep in mind that keyless keys sometimes can make issues.

Problem:

Try to reset the password in CG FC200, it showed an error 0602 and said the account does not exist.  How did you resolve the FC200 connectivity issue?

Solution:

First close the FC200 software, and download from their website the latest fc200 app.
Then install.
Start the software.
Then go to Settings on the top right, and change language and server.

Restart the FC200 app.
If there isn’t any update, try to bind / register again.

Follow this guide to register and bind FC200.

Some users reported they had issues unlocking the Chrysler FCA security gateway with Launch X431 through Autoauth.

Problem  1:

Purchased the Launch x431 pro5 global version last year. It has a valid subscription of two years with the tool registered to autoauth. When unlocking the gateway it gives the option of Europe or other (no USA). When selecting other no Autoauth login pops up, just unable to unlock gateway message.

Problem 2:

So I’ve purchased a Launch X431 pro3 v+ elite (USA user) that allegedly uses Autoauth to unlock gateways on Chrysler vehicles. Long story short, it does not work after update. No place to select north America anymore. Any luck with this?

Unfortunately, we regret to inform you that the LAUNCH software has recently removed the FCA SGW gateway unlocking feature for North America regions.

The European FCA SGW Gateway unlocking feature is still available. Need to purchase EU FCA Unlock license in Mall. (Check Launch X431 EU FCA SGW Unlock).

1). Try to install an older software version.

2). Consider alternative devices, Autel, Xtool, Thinkcar, Topdon etc.
