Autel IM608 Invalid VVDI BE Key Solution
Problem:
Every time I need to insert the Benz BE key Autel IM608 tells me invalid key. I tried 3 different Xhorse VVDI BE keys (yellow board). Even changed xp400 pro same situation.
Error “The current key is detected to be invalid.”
Solution:
Some BE Key yellow board old version 3.2 come not properly soldered.
BUT the manufacturer is aware of the flaws. There is a new version V4.2 that fixes the issues.
Green and yellow new boards work perfectly normally, something else is the issue.
It seems that it’s your USB cable. Some users had a similar situation.
Change usb cable of the programmer. Use the original USB cable of the xp400 pro, it is enough.

1. How to Purchase ECU Flash License?
Go to Mall- Software Store- Commercial Vehicle- ECU Flash.
Enter purchase and delivery information and choose payment method.

2. How to Enable/Configure ECU Flash Function?
Follow this guide to modify configuration files to enable ECU flash function.
- PAD V LINK HD path: /storage/emulated/0/cnlaunch/X431PADV/assets/StdCfg.ini
- PRO3 SE HD/ PRO3 LINK HD/ V+ HD/ Pro3s+ HD path: /storage/emulated/0/cnlaunch/X431Pro3S/assets/StdCfg.ini
Parameters to Modify: OnlineFlash=0, Flash=0.
For PAD V HD, go to Other Modules – Files – file management (internal storage) – cnlaunch folder -Device name – Assets directory and find the file named Stdcfg.ini.
For Pro3 HD series, go to Other Modules – Files – file management (internal storage) – emulated-o-cnlaunch folder -Device name – Assets directory and find the file named Stdcfg.ini.





Open and edit “StdCfg.ini” with a text editor, find two fields “OnlineFlash=0” and “Flash=0”, click the corresponding field, change the value to 1, and save. After the save value, the corresponding value will change to 1, as circled in the figure below, indicating that the software now can do ECU Flash function.

Change Flash=0 to Flash=1


NOTE:
1.Changing OnlineFlash and Flash value to 1 will also enable online programming function (if it’s PAD series)
2. If there is no OnlineFlash or Flash parameter, add OnlineFlash=1; Flash=1 parameters directly to the end of the StdCfg.ini document.

After modifying the parameters (OnlineFlash=1, Flash=1):

Here’s a small tip to guide you quickly check and sync vehicle mileage on CGDI K2 key tool. You’ll need to have a working key at hand.
Put the working key into CGDI K2 key clot.
Select Chip Identification Copy function.
Insert a BMW key into the induction coil and identify key information.
CGDI K2 reads key info. It’s ID49 chip key. Hit “More” button.

What is Unlock DME?
If a DME is unlocked, you can rewrite immo data to the engine.
If you get a second-hand engine DME, you can install it on other cars after unlocking it.

Step-by-Step Process

The Denso MT 22.1 ECU was initially attempted with Xhorse Multi prog, but it required boot mode, which was unnecessary with the Obdstar DC706.

Using a K-line connection, the Obdstar successfully established communication with the ECU.

The reading process was slow due to the K-line protocol but stable.

The tool first writes a bootloader before extracting the flash data, ensuring compatibility.
