How to update Mini CN900 key programmer?
1. Browse to CN900 Mini official website, register and download latest CN900_MINI_Updater
2. Or you can directly download new updater and driver here
3. Delete previous updater file
4. Install driver for Win7 or Win8
4. Open the updater setup.exe
5. Click on Update button.
6. The main module of firmware is updating. Wait for upgrade procedure complete.
How do I know which Nissan BCM is Risky?
Question:
Where can I find black list for Nissan BCM?
This is a Qashqai 2017 BCM code. How can I be sure that it doesn’t have 1 of those dangerous BCM?
Solution:
Check the bcm number against the list.
These BCMs are in black list. BCMs that carry a risk include:
284B1-3ZP0A
284B1-4CB0A
284B1-4CB1A
284B1-4CB2A
284B1-4CB3A
284B1-4CB4A
284B1-4CB5A
284B1-4CE1A
Nissan has a high failure rate with these BCMs when trying to program keys for Qashqai / X-Trail / Rogue 12-16. Better walk away otherwise you need to replace the bcm with new one if get it bricked.
Except from the Nissan technical bulletin – If the last two digits of the BCM reference end in 0A 1A 2A 3A 4A, it may not be possible to encode the keys. 5A or more are all OK.
You can find the Nissan BCM black list directly on Autel/OBDSTAR/Lonsdor/SmartPro etc device.
These tools can read bcm number and show you a warning showing risky bcm numbers. Even im608 will warn you if you try programming key, that it might damage BCM.

Tips to Program 2016 up Ford Explorer All Keys Lost by Autel IM608
Several mistakes were made during this process but still can learn from it. 2016 Ford Explorer all smart keys lost done by Autel IM608. Belongs to car lot. Ordered 1 key for it. Fought active alarm and failed. Made 2 chirps then next step would set it off again. Seen a bcm read option so I pull it and getting ready to open it up I see the key code on sticker. I previously did not think it had the key pad but after looking again I see it in pillar very well hidden. Lol. Put it all back together and use keypad to deactivate and it works. So now onto programming key. Seen 4 keys and decide to do akl. (I know now) learned right in perfectly but now says it need 2 keys to finish. I looked through my truck and find a different ford smart key that reads same transponder but it’s locked. Throw it in slot and added a key. It went through the process but then said it failed. I backed out and looked and it said there was 2 keys. Sure enough. It closed out. Starts runs and drives with no issues.
BTW: Those keys are reusable. And they are the same keys just look different. They work from 2016 and up.
Fords if you do AKL procedures you will need to add 2 keys, you could have just chosen add key then would have only need 1 key. Also you said you heard the 2 chirps then started to add key and alarm sounded again next time just continue to add key, that is how it worked for me. I did the deactivate alarm, I heard 2 chirps then started to add key, alarm sounded but I just went through the process then the key was added and alarm stopped.

Autel IM508 and IM608 are immobilizer key programmers, KM100 is a key generator/copy machine.

Autel IM508 Error When Load Any BMW CAS Dump Solution

Wrong menu, use in menu IMMO- BMW.
Exactly! Need to be done under imme menu. And function available only with XP400 or XP400 pro.
Go to immo, BMW, model, then key learning and to make key from dump, it will open the file properly, will ask to put the original key to the xp400 programmer for isn, then choose key position, click on write key, put new key to the programmer. Will make dealer key. Then just close it, go to car, put new key into slot, wait 2-5sec and done, car starts, doors opens. Finished.

Autel IM608 Program 2018 Dodge Journey AKL via 12+8 Cable
2018 Dodge Journey. Push to Start and all keys lost. I see that this vehicle has a security gateway located behind the OBD port. I know with other programmers it requires a security gateway bypass cable. Autel shows it can be programmed through the OBD port. I’ve never programmed keys for a vehicle with the security gateway. Is there a bypass cable that has to be used with the Autel IM608?
2015 Up Ford All Keys Lost Active Alarm Guide with Xtool
Xtool tech released 2015 onwards new Ford proximity all keys lost with active alarm function as well.
Tools you need:
Xtool key programming tablets (X100 PAD3/X100 PAD Elite)

How to Connect:
1.Connect the main cable to the female obd2 socket of the Ford cable, and connect the tablet or VCI box to the other side of the main cable.2. Connect the male OBD2 socket of the Ford cable to the OBD port of the vehicle
3. Take the battery clip off from the car’s battery and connect the 2 battery clips to the battery
4 There is also a battery clip (read cable with ‘Battery Clip+’ tag on it) on the cable. Connect it to the positive battery clip on the car.

Programming Process:
Take a 2018 Ford Edge with an active alarm as an example and read its EEPROM data without any keys available
1. Make sure the cable is connected properly, the select
Ford V27.30 or higher- North American Ford- Smart key system- Edge- 2016-2020
2. Select All keys lost. Choose the menu depending by the status of the vehicle. Considering the alarm is on now, here we select ‘Alarm activation’
3. Open the door on the driver’s side. Use a screwdriver to jam the door latch on the locked position but keep it opening.
The door should keep open but locked until the entire process is done. When it is done, click OK to continue,
4. Select Reading EEPROM first
5. If the cable is connected, switch off the battery
6. The device will try read the EEPROM by communicating with the ECYU.
Switch on the battery and check if the alarm still goes on.
7. If the alarm still goes on, switch off the battery and wait for 10 seconds, then try switch off and on again
8. If the alarm is off, disconnect the cable to the battery, connect it back to battery clip of the car, tighten it, and close the hood, click OK to continue.
9. Reading EEPROM data. The process will take 10 minutes
10. WHen EEPROM reading is done. it will generate a bin file, Save file on Internal Storage folder.
*If you are using a device without VCI but not using the cable, you must remove/install the battery clip every time the device noted you to disconnect/reconnect to the battery.
